Hey, I just saw Castrati at the Kingshead the other night, which I must say is a cool venue to check out shows. I've never been up there before but I'll definitely check out more shows there. Anyhow, I first got a glimpse of Castrati last tuesday when we played with them at the Albert, and I haven't stopped listening to their CD since. The show on friday started off with a little bit of technical difficuties (it happens), something went wrong with a guitar cable or something. After that though, it was pretty smooth sailing I must say. These guys rock! There set was filled with songs off there CD, "Everything you know is wrong", which is awesome. They also did a cover of "Mustang Sally" as a tribute to Wilson Pickett who recently passed away and they definitely did it justice and then some. Castrati rocks live. I urge anyone and everyone to flock to their shows whenever you can. By the end of it the bass player's hand was bleeding so badly you couldn't tell that his pick guard was actually white, that's how hard they rock. Great show, great energy, great set. Nuff said. Pat/"Katelyn"

This was the first time I saw Katelyn, recommended by Joel D. Definately a good show and glad I went.
